Margie Speedy, 83, of Eckerty, Indiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 24, 2025, at Serinity Springs Nursing Facility in Jasper, Indiana surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 27, 1942, in Wickliffe, Indiana to Ernest Glenn and Anna Catherine (Lane) Deel. She married Gary Donald Speedy on January 29, 1966. Margie enjoyed gardening and spending time with family, friends, and grandchildren. For the first part of her marriage, she enjoyed being a homemaker and mother. Later, Margie worked at Ben Franklins in Jasper, Indiana for several years before retiring. Margie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always put family first above all else.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Anna Deel, her husband, Gary Donald Speedy, and a stillborn son, Donald Ray Speedy.

Margie is survived by her son, Gary Keith (Marvella) Speedy, Karen Renea (Jeffrey) Faulkner, grandchildren, Jackson Sean Faulkner, Aaron Keith Speedy, Kelly Froman, Jesse Huffman & Mairee (Huffman) Walerczak and sister, Helen (Deel) Speedy.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M on Tuesday December 30, 2025, at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana with Bro. Albert Madden to officiate. Burial will follow in Rowland Potters Cemetery in Eckerty, Indiana.
