She was married to Eugene Lowery and he preceded her in death on April 14, 2010

She was an ordained minister and was a member of Apostolic Evangelistic Center in New Albany, Indiana. Marie worked as a seamstress in the clothing and textile industry. She enjoyed flowers and raising grapes.

She is survived by:

One Daughter: Gail Sanders of Jeffersonville, Indiana

Two Sons: Garry Lowery of Lexington, Indiana
Jay Lowery of Elizabeth, Indiana

One Sister: Jenny Alstott of New Albany, Indiana

Along with several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by:

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana. Burial will follow in Foster's Ridge Cemetery in Union Town, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
