Martha Jean (Enlow) Apple, age 93, of Leavenworth, IN passed away on August 9, 2015 at Indian Creek Health and Rehab in Corydon, IN.
Jean was born to the late Everett and Tessie (Summers) Enlow on February 10, 1922 in Crawford County, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Apple. They were married on December 16, 1944.
Jean has 2 children, Larry (Cathleen) Apple and Philip (Carol) Apple.
Jean has 2 sisters, Phyllis Scott and Sari Enlow (dec).
She has 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Jean was very active in the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was the owner and operator or Apple's Apparel in Leavenworth, IN. She was also very active in the Leavenworth Presbyterian Church and the Church Choir.
Funeral will be Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Leavenworth Presbyterian Church in Leavenworth, IN at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.
Burial will be at Apple's Chapel in Orange County, IN.
The family would like to thank the staff at Indian Creek Alzheimer's Unit for the care and love that you gave to Jean for the last 4 ½ years.
