Mary Edith Smith, age 68. Of Eckerty, IN passed away on March 23, 2017 at Spring Valley Meadows in French Lick, IN.
She is the daughter of the late Chester H. Caldwell and Millie M. (Salyers) Caldwell, born on February 2, 1949 in Casey County, Kentucky.
Other than her father Mary is preceded in death by a brother Jerry Caldwell. Surviving Mary are her mother, husband Marvin Smith, children Diane Rogers, Peggy Hafley and Gary Rogers of Eckerty, IN, siblings Dorothy Foley of Eubank, KY, Melvin Caldwell of Eubank, KY, Louise Wall of Science Hill, KY, Deva Swartz of Eubank, KY, Jimmy Caldwell of Russell Springs, KY, Paul Caldwell of Wayneburg, KY and Timmy Caldwell of Somerset, KY. Along with several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen with burial to follow at a later date in her hometown in Kentucky.
