Millie Evelyn Chappell, 85, of English, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
She was born on September 28, 1932 in Perry County to the late Samuel and Annie (McKim) Conrad.
Millie was preceded in death by her husband, James Chappell of 61 years, her parents; Samuel and Annie Conrad, her siblings; James Conrad, Anna Marie Lively, Curtis Conrad, Teddy Conrad, Samuel Jr. Conrad, Harold Conrad, and Theodore Conrad.
She is survived by her children; James Eugene Chappell, Marvin Edward Chappell, Karen Elaine (Timothy) Deich, Dale Eric Chappell, Mary Ellen Harder, her grandchildren; James Earl Chappell, Daniel Tyler Harder, Samantha Rachelle Eisele, step- grand-daughter Courtney Rae Easrey, two step- great- grandchildren, and her siblings; Jennings Conrad, Viola Wright, Naomi Cooper, and Rosene Ridenour.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Tunnel Hill Church, in English, IN. Burial will follow in Bethany Union Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 4:00 till 8:00 at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana and also on Friday morning at the Tunnel Hill Church from 9:00 AM until time of service.
