Obituary

Norma Lee (Ferguson) Smith was born in Sulphur, IN on January 28, 1931-the second daughter of the late Curran and Olive (Brown) Ferguson. Norma died at her home in English, IN on October 2, 2015.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband William K. Smith. They were married July 31, 1949. Bill died on July 21, 2005.
She is survived by two sisters Doine Delores Sarles of Bloomington, IN and Doris Bea Crews of Scottsville, Kentucky.
Bill and Norma Lee were married 55 years and had two daughters, Deborah (Bill) Nichols of Hardinsburg, IN and Krisanne (Jeff) Roll of English, IN.
Norma Lee leaves a legacy of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren include: Michael Lee Howerton of English, IN, Katie Scarlett Vaught of Orleans, IN, Sophie Smith Wallace of Popcorn Road, Tully William Roll of Munice, IN, Abe Ferguson Roll of Indianapolis, IN, Levi Jonathan Roll, Sadie Krisanne Roll and Sydney Camille Roll of English, IN.
Norma Lee's great-grandchildren include: Trey Michael Yother, Kainin Matthew Yother and Blaze Mitchell Knapp of Orleans, IN; Brooke Taylor Howerton, Carter Scott Howerton and Peyton Michael Howerton of English, IN and Olive Krisanne Wallace of Popcorn Road. Norma Lee was eager to meet her eighth great granddaughter due this November.
Norma was a member of Hillview Christian Church. She retired from the Crawford County School Corp. where she was treasurer.
Funeral service will be Monday, October 5, 2015 at Hillview Christian Church at 1:00 pm.
Visitation will be Monday, from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow at English Cemetery, English, IN.
