Opal M. Mitchell, age 96, of Eckerty, IN, passed away on August 20 at Medco Health and Rehab in French Lick, IN.
She was born on December 21, 1917 in Crawford Co. to Pat and Nellie (Waddle) Curl.
Opal was married to Orville Mitchell on December 21, 1938.

Opal had 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
She was a member and faithfully attended People's Tabernacle in French Lick, IN.
Opal loved crosswords puzzles, reading the Bible, babysitting, going to church, gardening, canning, cooking and quilting.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 23 at 10:00 am Denbo Funeral Home, English, IN. Burial will follow at Bethany Union in Eckerty, IN.
Visitation will be Friday, August 22 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday morning from 9:00 until service time at 10:00 at Denbo Funeral Home, English, IN.
