Phillip Clayton Inglis, 71, lived part of the year in English, Indiana and spent part of his time in Oceano, California passed away on June 18, 2020 at Baptist Floyd Hospital in New Albany.
He was born on June 19, 1948 in Long Beach, California to Charles and Thelma Mae (Fuller) Inglis.
Phillip was a United States Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam war. He worked as a finish blade operator for 35 years at Operating Engineers Local #12. Phillip owned and operated Shorte's Fireworks in English alongside his wife for the past 9 years. He was a devoted Christian, husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Charles Inglis and Thelma Mae Hobbs, and his uncle Shorte Fuller.
Phillip is survived by his wife of 24 years, Vicki (Price) Inglis, his children; Christopher Inglis, Rebecca Inglis, his step- children Lori (Jason) Scheer, Jeff (Brandie) Rose, his grandchildren; Paisley Inglis, Hayden Inglis, Logan Swanson, Nicole Swanson, Jordyn (Ryan) McKalson, Hanna Scheer, Josh Rose, and his siblings; Ingrid (Arnold) Harris, Ljot Inglis and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen according to Phillip's wishes, and private memorial will be held at a later date.
