Phyllis E. Scott, age 97, was born on December,24, 1923 in English, IN to Everett and Tessie Summers Enlow.  She graduated from this life and went to be with her Lord on December 31, 2020.

She spent most of her life in Crawford County.  She spent 4 years in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut after training at St. Vincent Hospital.  She worked as a caseworker in the Crawford County Welfare Department for 32 ½ years.  Phyllis also served on the Lincoln Hills Board for 20 years and the Crawford County Board of Health for several years.  She was a member of the English Wesleyan Church for most of her life, she enjoyed singing in the choir and cooking for many dinners at the Fellowship Hall, as well as making crème pies for the Eckerty Camp.  Phyllis vacationed for several years in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years Thomas Woodrow Scott, sisters; Martha Jean Apple and Sari Elizabeth Enlow.

She is survived by her daughters; Rebecca Jean (Michael) Magill of English, and Beth Ann Scott (Roland Lemus) of Corydon and his daughter Margot Lemus of Muncie, IN, nephews Larry (Cathy) Apple of Louisville, KY and Philip (Carol) Apple of Demotte, IN and their children, along with caregivers; Roxanne Sprinkle Snider, Julie Scott, Tonya Berkenmeyer and Debbie Smith.

Due to the Covid Pandemic a private funeral was chosen with burial to follow at the Taswell Cemetery with Rev. Tilden Jones officiating.
