Ralph Dale Stroud, 81, of Marengo passed away on March 15, 2020 at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born to Harold Stroud and Geraldine (Underhill) Stroud on August 13, 1938.

Ralph was a man with many passions in his life.  He is a veteran of the Air Force, and a lifelong member of the Marengo American Legion Post 84. He was a member of the 1957 winning Sectional Basketball Team.  He volunteered many years coaching his two sons in their sporting events.  Ralph was a member of the Marengo Christian Church, The Marengo Volunteer Fire Dept., a member of the Crawford County Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Redevelopment Board for Crawford County and a member of the 4-H Board, he was on the first school board that was elected in Crawford County.

Preceding Ralph in death are his parents, his siblings; Merlin (Mert) Stroud and Elizabeth Prior.

Surviving is his loving wife of 57 years Patricia (Lemmon) Stroud, his sons; Dale (Heather) Stroud and Clint (Cindy) Stroud and foster daughter Patti (Cox) Louis, grandchildren; Brandi Smith, Julie Byers, Sarah Phillips, Stanley Stroud, Jackson Ralph Stroud, Waylon Stroud and Wesley Stroud, great grandchildren; Lucas Stroud-Eastridge, Carly Jo Smith, Gavin Byers, Austin Byers and Olivia Vazquez, siblings; Carol Shelton, Ernie Stroud and Jerry Stroud.

In the current public situation, there will be a private burial for Mr. Ralph Stroud.
