Randolph Owen Grunden, age 83, of English, IN passed away at his home on December 19, 2014.
Owen was born to Earl and Kathleen (Bunch) Grunden on January 7, 1931 in Crawford County, IN.
He married Ruth L. (Bowman) Grunden in November of 1957.

Sisters- Maxine Cook
Onieda Grunden
Granddaughters-
Paula Vaught, infant,
Phylicia Vaught on August 25, 2014.

Thelma Wright.

Owen and Ruth have 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Owen, starting in 1964, owed first Grunden Hardware in Marengo, IN and then English Hardware in English, IN for a total of 50 years in the hardware business.

He was also involved in the VFW, Soil and Water Conservation and held office with the Crawford County School Board.

Funeral will be Monday, December 22 at 11:00 pm at Marengo United Methodist Church in Marengo, IN. Our VFW will provide a Veteran Service.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 21 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo, IN.
