Robert W. (Bob) Gleitz, 67, of English, IN passed peacefully from this life on February 7, 2014 to be with Jesus. He was the son the late Howard W. and Edna R. (Lyons) Gleitz. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John D. Gleitz of Lanesville. He was a member of the Community Fellowship Church in Corydon, IN. He was very active in the church, including mission trips, and playing bass guitar. He was a retired carpenter but still loved working, especially with wood. He leaves behind three children, Robert M. Gleitz of Marengo, Teresa (Mike) Key of Leavenworth, and Jennifer (Ryan) Lott of Spencer, IN. and three grandchildren that were the highlight of his life, Katelyn, Chloe, and Norah, and one brother Steve (Carolyn) Gleitz of Oak Ridge, TN. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday from the Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo, IN and after 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday at 1:00 P.M. from the funeral home. Burial will take place in Borden Cemetery near Leavenworth, IN and Pastor Titus Gilbert will officiate. Dillman –Green Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
