Rodney Eugene Wilson, 65, of Corydon, IN passed away on December 21, 2020 at Baptist Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN.

He was born on June 12, 1955 to the late Robert Wilson and Lois (Dean) Wilson in Floyd County Hospital in New Albany, IN.

Rodney loved to eat fish and drink his Coca-Cola.  His favorite was when people called him Plum Pretty.  Rodney enjoyed Pop-eye the Sailor man cartoons and movies, Loretta Lynn and he loved children.

He is preceded by his parents and his grandmother Ruth Dean.

Rodney is survived by his sister Linda (Eddie) Howell, his guardian Christina Cecil, and the many friends and family of Blue River Services.

The staff at Blue River Services would like to thank the nursing staff at Indian Creek Nursing Home for the love and compassionate care that was given to Rodney during his time there with them.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
