Obituary

Ronald D. Newton, 90, of Eckerty, Indiana passed away in Jasper, Indiana surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born June 24, 1935, in English, Indiana to William and Jessie (Thompson) Newton. Ron was a man of strong faith who loved to attend the English Church of God. He was a United States Army Veteran. Ron talked about God often and shared his faith with others. He enjoyed motorcycles and bicycles, and he was always tinkering with something. In his free time he liked watching cartoons and Westerns. He will be remembered for his faith and the simple joys he enjoyed in life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Jessie Newton, his brother, Lloyd Newton, sisters, Mabel Rose Belcher and Betty Harlen.

Ronald is survived by his son, "Billy" Newton Jr., his friends, Joan (Charles) Kuebler, Ronnie (Teresa) Faulkner, Larry Faulkner, Jeff (Karen) Faulkner, his companion, Goldie Faulkner and his four nieces, Linda Benham, Crystal Stilger, Peggy Maddox and Barbara Voglesong. A funeral will be held on December 11, 2025, at 11:00 A.M at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana with Bro. Doug Phillips to officiate. Burial and military rites will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 10, 2025, from 3:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana.
