Rose Hovis, 68, of Birdseye, IN passed away on May 8, 2020 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on January 1, 1952 to Kenneth Babb and Connie (Britt) Babb in Emmence, IN.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, infant child Leander Eggers, Richard Hovis II, siblings; Phyliss Babb, Barbara Austin, and Nancy Adders.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years Richard Hovis, children; Laura Hovis Bentley (Chris Bentley), Carl Hovis, and Devin Hovis, grandchildren; William, Jacob, Steven and Russel Bentley, Madison, Nick, Derrick, Donnie, Leland and Cora Hovis, great-grandchildren; Avery and Dallas Bentley.

Rose was a member of the Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints; she was a beautician and a stay at home mom.  She was a very loving mother, wife and grandmother.

Due to the current situation of the COVID-19 virus a private service will be held.
