Sylvia Cook, 75, of English, IN passed away on June 3, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to Raymond Baker and Geneva (Blalock) Johnson on December 18, 1944 in New Albany, IN.

Sylvia loved fishing, gardening, canning, and growing flowers.  She and family loved to get together and play euchre.

She is preceded in death by parents, her husband Arthur Cook, daughter Rebecca Cook, and siblings Lewis Baker and Earl Rissler.

Surviving Sylvia are her children; Jeffery Cook and Karen (Ronald) Masters, a granddaughter Hailey Masters and siblings; Thelma Cook, Virginia Humphrey, Roy Berks, Alma Butler, Dorothy Eddleman, and Shirley Gloztbach.

Funeral service will Monday, June 8, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home in English, In.  Bro. Albert Madden will be officiating the funeral service with burial at Cooks Chapel Cemetery in Paoli, IN.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home.
