Troy M. Mattingly, age 54, passed away on February 15, 2024 at IU Health Paoli Hospital in Paoli, IN.

He was born on July 2, 1969 to the late Elwood Mattingly and Clara (Sheckells) Mattingly in Edwardsville, IN.

Troy worked as a mechanic most of his life. He attended South Central Vocational School for Agricultural Mechanics where he was top of his class and graduated in 1987.   He also enjoyed working on and riding dirt bikes.  Troy grew up in the Beechwood Bible Holiness Church.  He was a talented musician playing the electric and acoustic guitar.  Troy had the ability of making up songs that were very humorous.

He is preceded in death by his father Elwood Mattingly.

Troy is survived by his wife of 11 years Beth (Moore) Mattingly, his mother Clara Mattingly, his siblings; Joy (Jimmie) Spear, Danita Allen, Jonathan Mattingly, Alana Mattingly and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Monday, February 19, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo, IN.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 19, 2024 beginning at 12:00 pm until service time.

Officiating the funeral service will be Bro. Joey Pyle with burial to follow at East-Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Alton, IN.
