Wade Smith, 70, of Loogootee, IN passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on December 12, 1950 to Raymond Smith and Amzel (Laswell) Smith in English, IN.

Wade was an avid hunter and fisherman; he was a hard worker and would help anyone he could.  Most of all Wade loved his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Tracy Smith, and his siblings; Chet Smith, Coy Smith, Garry Smith, Marcella Webster, Gail Sturgeon and 6 infant siblings.

Wade is survived by his wife of 26 years Sandra (Fuhrman) Smith, his children; Wesley (Heather) Smith, Jesse Smith, step-children; Keith McCallister and Dennis McCallister, brothers; Glen (Diane) Smith and Doyle (Donna) Smith, along with 3 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 1 step grandson and 5 step granddaughters and 1 great grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Denbo Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and also on Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.

Albert Madden will be officiating the funeral service.
