Wanda Lee Hawkins, age 89, of English, IN passed away on January 16, 2022 at Baptist Floyd Hospital in New Albany, In.

She was born on January 30, 1932 to William Laswell and Olive (Forbes) Laswell in Crawford County, IN.

Wanda had a strong Christian faith and enjoyed visiting many different churches around Crawford County.  She enjoyed traveling to the Great Smokey Mountains.  Wanda loved her family, her grandchildren and all children.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Albert Hawkins Jr., her parents, her son Steven Albert Hawkins and her siblings; Chester Laswell, Carl Laswell and Betty Laswell.

Wanda is survived by her daughter Beverly Montgomery, grandchildren; Michael (Jody) Montgomery, Ryan Montgomery, Misty Goldman, Deven Hawkins, Lindsay Hawkins, Sunny Hawkins, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and her siblings; Elmer "Andy" Laswell, Wm. "Bill" Laswell, Lorraine Laswell and Sharon Laswell Clifton.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Denbo Funeral Home in English, IN.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.

Bro. Albert Madden will be officiating the funeral service with burial to follow at El Bethel Cemetery in Milltown, IN.
