Wilbur Zehr, 77, of Taswell passed away on Tuesday April 30, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born on August 9, 1941 in Taswell to the late Frank and Irma (Kirkhoff) Zehr. Wilbur was a United States Army Veteran. Wilbur married Connie (Manship) Zehr on May 5, 1967. He retired from Colgate Palmolive in Jeffersonville.

Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; Frank and Irma Zehr, his siblings; Charles "Melvin" Zehr, Elvin "Tiny" Zehr, Beatrice Pruitt, William "Jake" Zehr, Ernest "Gene" Zehr, and Hazel Hammond.

He is survived by his wife Connie Zehr, his children; Frankie Zehr, Chasity (Jamie) Wiseman, his grandchildren; Alicia, Ashley, and Jacob, Great-Grandson Grayson, his siblings; Edward Zehr, Wanda Smith, Wilma Morrison, Barbara Spears, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00 P.M at Denbo Funeral Home with Pastor George Key officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 A.M Friday May 3, 2019 until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. Burial and a Military Service will follow at Taswell Cemetery.
